Pilates is the ultimate rehab exercise, it teaches you how to hold your body in balance, have great posture, slow simple precise movements that will improve your muscle tone aches and pains, bone density and are surprisingly challenging even if they look easy.
I used to see a curved old man walking with two sticks going to the shops, the spine so curved I wandered what his field of vision was, I promised myself I’ll never end that way, pilates is the ultimate remedy for good posture, slowly building muscles that have not fired properly for a while, helping with proprioception, balance , strength, coordination and much more.

WHY I TEACH YOGA AND PILATES

I teach because I am passionate about how exercise can transform your quality of life, I became a teacher because as a massage therapist I saw the same people over and over for the same issue, they would get better and then slack off in the same routine and patterns that created the problem to start with. I would prescribe exercise but they would only do them in the acute phase and then forget.. My clients needed someone to practice with, to integrate exercise in their routines and make a permanent change in their health. I know what a regular practice has done for me, how much stronger I am, how i rebalance my body after surgery.
I focus an alignment, taking one step at the time and progressing you steadily through, I encourage you to have better awareness of your body fine tuning your proprioceptor skills. The atmosphere is light, non judgemental.
I want to make exercise accessible to every WOMAN, even the women that think they are too unfit, too old, too inflexible, too fat, too uncoordinated, too much in pain.
Through the years I have been part of many journeys from pilates with Ms, to clients starting at the tender age of 80, I have worked with many women that felt too confronted in a group environment, and I have taught great supporting groups where women made each other stronger, gave each other confidence and strength.
